Linda Leith Publishing, a Montreal based publishing house, required a more effective website to manage their book catalog for their extensive customer base.
UndoLogic created a new and more complex website for LLP, a trade publishing house specializing in literary fiction, non-fiction, short Singles essays and occasionally cartoons with a particular interest in Quebec and translations. With a special love of short books, novella-length fiction and essays with edgy topics, the company has a commitment to publish books that might not see the light of day if it were not for LLP. Linda Leith, president of LLP, is active as a writer and publisher, and continues to be involved with creating connections in literary circles; previously as founder and former president of Blue Metropolis Montreal, a successful International Literary Festival, ongoing and now in it’s 23 year.
Updating their previous website became essential to develop an online business format for selling their publications, books in English and French including translations, and to realise their mandate of bringing writers and readers together. The custom e-commerce system allows for unique customizations and offerings, which can be managed with the UpdateCase CMS, and a custom blog, Salon .II. creates an opportunity for the wider literary community to communicate and share their comments and experiences.
The new website is fully bilingual in English and French, including custom variations in each language. The customized design is integrated into updateCase, an undoLogic SaaS solution, which allows the client’s staff to easily change text and replace images without any technical experience. Any other modifications can be completed by our undoLogic, or any professional developer of the clients choice.
